Honduras - Central America

BIMI missionaries have been ministering in Honduras since 1968. At that time most of our ministry was centered in the capital city of Tegulcigapa. Since then, BIMI missionaries have branched out in many of the cities outside the capital area. Churches have been planted in many of the “Departamentos" of the country.

One of the most exciting new works is in the city of El Progreso, the third largest city in Honduras. The church is growing and there is now a Bible Institute there that will train national pastors to go and start new churches. There are also a Bible Institutes in the cities of Ojojona and la Paz. There is still much work to be done and laborers are needed for this harvest field.
