New Place New People Same Purpose By Dwight Talbot After serving with BIMI in the north of Europe for eight years, we were forced to leave that field suddenly under circumstances beyond our control near the end of 2015. Our hearts were saddened but still determined to continue in the ministry of church planting as we were sure the Lord was not changing that calling. This was a blessing for all of us, especially for our children. The Lord is so gracious in the way that He works His sovereign will in our lives! He allowed us to spend this time with a mother/grandmother before her graduation to glory on December 24, 2016, not long after we had arrived on the new field. The Lord led us to Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada, to begin the work of planting a church in the largest city in southeastern British Columbia. Cranbrook has around 25,000 people in the city proper and surrounding area. There was no fundamental independent Baptist 4
