John and April McDaniel, Navajo Indian Church Planting, New Mexico, On Deputation (Nov) God has been so good to us….We have raised 25% support so far. April was blessed to get a traditional Navajo rug dress, moccasins, and other items that make the traditional outfit for a fraction of the cost. This is something April wants to wear at meetings when appropriate. I am blessed to have led a young man to the Lord while out visiting in Arizona. Evertie Moore, Kentucky (Aug) Thank you so much for standing with me in the unending work in the mountains of Kentucky. I gave 41 years of my life to the work of the Lord and today I continue to be a missionary winning souls, helping God’s work go on, and doing God’s will. In 1961 God sent us to a wicked, murderous community of 250 people. We lived among them when no one else would. We had to die daily to stay there. Thank God there is a thriving church there for now over 50 years! We were able to train three faithful men who have been pastors for many years. Ed and Barbara O’Brien, Hispanic Church Planting, North Carolina (Sept) Since our last letter, we have had two new families start attending the church. After visiting one of the couples several days later, they accepted Christ as their Savior. They were excited; we were excited; and our church is excited. Dale and Faye Painter, New York/North Carolina (Dec) We had a wonderful ministry this summer in Springfield, New York, at the open air flea market. Sometimes we estimate that there are as many as 500 people coming to the market. We handed out hundreds of tracts, Bibles, and other Gospel literature as well as preaching, witnessing, and counseling people as they stopped to listen. We dealt with people about salvation, personal problems such as drugs and alcohol, marital problems, children, and all kinds of family problems. The answer is always the same—Christ is the answer to the most serious problem. Chuck and Sue Phelps, Church Planting, Missouri (Dec) GOD is blessing our church this year. In the last few weeks three people have joined the church, a young couple (she is now playing the piano) and a friend of Sue’s. We also have another young couple coming and we are praying for their salvation and getting their priorities right. They have two sons who also need salvation….GOD truly is good. Mark and Stephanie Sage, Church Planting, Ohio (Oct) The best news from the Revival was that we had four souls trust Christ as their Savior. Praise be to God! Since the Revival we have had three baptisms and three others make professions of faith in the services. Please pray for the growth and discipleship of all of these.
