Riverside Baptist Church is now five years old. God so wonderfully blessed our church this year and allowed us to become a mother church as we partnered with the Reitenbachs, our former assistant pastor and his family, to start Greenfield Baptist Church in Greenfield, Massachusetts.” In November God allowed Riverside the privilege of starting a low power FM radio station as a ministry of our church….Joyful Sound is the only conservative Christian radio station in the state of Connecticut. Bruce and Vicki Kelly, Deaf Church Planting, Georgia (Oct–Dec) We finally finished building the baptism pool and we had our first baptism on November 15 (three people). We had a Thanksgiving Potluck on November 22 with 10 new visitors attending our church. We are averaging two new visitors visiting the Deaf Baptist Church. We continue to have a Bible Study about one hour away from the church two times a month and average 10 deaf people who come. John and Abby Lafreniere, Church Planting, Connecticut (Aug–Oct) On September 27 we held our first anniversary service. There were many in attendance, and we had our very first potluck dinner. We held our first Ladies Only get together last month! Many attended this special time of fellowship and food at a local restaurant. We are very encouraged by your continued prayers for Abby [wife]. Her positive attitude through the disease [ALS] is a result of God answering your prayers. Ken and June Love, Church Restoration, Georgia (Dec) God continues to bless us as we are working to restore Victory Baptist Church in Vidalia, Georgia. The Holy Spirit is working in our midst, and the numbers are slowly coming up. A young man from our home church...has agreed to come and lead the music for us and conduct Junior Church. Praise the Lord for supplying the needs! Ron and Shelby Manuel, Church Planting, Arizona (Aug–Oct) We celebrated our 3rd anniversary on September 13. (Our normal attendance is in the upper 30s to 40s.) The Lord blessed with 102 people that morning! Lighthouse is putting the second batch of John/Romans packets on doors. When we are finished, 20,000 John/ Romans booklets and flyers about the church will have been distributed since May. We plan to cover the area with this mass distribution effort every three years.
