We are Devin, Amy, Micah and Faith Frost, church-planting missionaries to New Zealand. The Lord has given us a great burden for this country of 4.5 million people. There is such a need for gospel-preaching churches here. In 2013, forty-one percent of New Zealand claimed no religion of any kind. Thirty-percent claimed a Roman Catholic or Anglican standing. Less than two percent of this country claimed to be Baptist of any kind.
I first visited New Zealand in 2007, and later our family returned for a visit in 2012. Then, in the fall of 2013, we spent two months in the city of Christchurch, New Zealand (population 341,469), partnering together with Christchurch Independent Baptist Church, and their pastor, New Zealand national Ron Boersma.
Our plans in reaching New Zealand involve the city of Christchurch, the most populated part of the South Island, and roughly the second most-populated area of the country. Our ambition is to see a new Independent Baptist church planted in this great metropolis. As of April 2016, we have been on deputation for roughly 1 ½ years. The Lord has given us over 70% of our needed support, and we are looking forward to being in New Zealand by early 2017.
We hope you will consider standing together with us as we strive to reach this lost country for our Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for us and the ministry the Lord has given us in New Zealand.
